Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, also known as Camila Cabello, is a Cuban-born American actress, singer, and songwriter. She first gained fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, but established herself as a solo artist with collaborations such as "I Know What You Did Last Summer" with Shawn Mendes and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly. In 2016, she left Fifth Harmony and released her debut solo single, "Crying in the Club". In 2021, Cabello made her acting debut in the film Cinderella. Cabello was born in Coj mar, Havana, Cuba in 1997 and moved to Miami, Florida with her mother when she was six years old. Her father, Alejandro Cabello, is Mexican and was born in Mexico City. Cabello attended Miami Palmetto High School but left in 9th grade to pursue her singing career. Cabello has been in relationships with Matthew Hussey and Canadian singer Shawn Mendes since July 2019. She has a net worth of $20 million, earned through her singing and songwriting career, collaborations with artists like Pitbull and J Balvin, and endorsement deals. She is also a philanthropist and has partnered with Save the Children and participated in fundraising efforts for Hurricane disaster relief and COVID-19. Cabello has won multiple awards and has been nominated for three Grammy Awards.
