
Sara Aliza Eisen (American television journalist) is currently a part of CNBC. She is the anchor for the channel's shows "Squawk On The Street" (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk in the Street' (CNBC). Although she's an Ohioan but she didn't have a keen interest in markets and currencies during college. While studying at New York University she interned for ForexTV.com. It was here that she received her first exposure to business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's degree in broadcast journalism. After that, she did a 4-month work experience with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. After that, she returned to the United States and started working in Bloomberg's New York office. In the end, she was a TV anchor. CNBC has hired her as a correspondent in December 2013. Before she was hired as a correspondent on 'Closing Bell as a correspondent, she worked as an anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange' and Power Lunch'. Eisen is co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since 2014. Her main area of focus since her arrival at CNBC has been global consumer news.
